Carmel, IN – On Sunday, November 29, 2015, Lauren Boswell of Fishers was named MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2016 & Morgan Abel of North Vernon was named MISS INDIANA USA® 2016. They were crowned at the conclusion of the two-day MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® & MISS INDIANA USA® Pageant, which was held at The Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN. The host hotel was the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel in Carmel, IN.
Lauren Boswell crowned Miss Indiana Teen USA® 2016
Lauren Boswell is the daughter of Justin and Kim Boswell of Fishers. A senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School, Lauren is a member of the Student Council, Best Buddies Mentor, Varsity Volleyball Team, Homecoming Committee, Drama Club, World Connections Club, International Thespian Society, Musicals, and Young Life.
After mentoring youth through Best Buddies and as a Peer tutor and Cadet Teacher, Lauren has chosen to obtain a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Special Education.
She enjoys Zumba, Pinterest, enjoying the outdoors, summer concerts, mentoring children, traveling overseas and modeling.
Crowned by Kassidy Tharp, Miss Indiana Teen USA® 2015, Lauren will represent Indiana in the 2016 Miss Teen USA® Pageant.
The remainder of the Top 7 included: Alexa Marasovich of Fort Wayne, Holyn Huizinga of Greenwood, Bailey Perez of Schererville, Shannon Donoho of Georgetown, Molly Gilles of Newburgh and Kaylee Gardner of Lawrenceburg.
Bailey Perez was named Miss Photogenic and Sarah Burk was voted Miss Congeniality.

Morgan Abel crowned Miss Indiana USA® 2016
Morgan Abel is the daughter of Pete and Sarah Abel of North Vernon, and is a graduate of Indiana University - Columbus. She is a registered Nurse in the Mental Health Unit at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Her career ambition is to pursue a Master's degree at Indiana University to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She also wants to partner with the Crisis Hotline to help those who need immediate assistance due to their perceived crisis as well as continue integrating the HOPE program into local schools in order to prevent suicide related deaths.
She describes herself as a thrill seeker who enjoys racing, snow skiing, knee boarding, exploring and singing on stage as a vocalist.
Morgan's school and community activities include: National Alliance of Mental Illness, Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter, Red Cross, Hospice, HOPE, CHAMP Camp, and AYS.
Crowned by Gretchen Reece, MISS INDIANA USA® 2015, Morgan will represent Indiana at the 2016 MISS USA® Pageant.
The remainder of the Top 7 included: Darrian Arch of Chesterton, Brittany Winchester of Indianapolis, Alexis Ginn of Dyer, Destiny Dever of Jeffersonville, Gracie Lyons of Elkhart, and Autumn Cole of Chesterton.
